Toastmasters Club
I challenged myself by joining both Qatar and West Bay Toastmasters, where I grew as a speaker through creative speeches, meaningful roles, and inspiring mentorship.
Being part of just one Toastmasters club wasn’t quite enough for me, so I decided to join a second one simultaneously. I actively participated in both Qatar Toastmasters Club and West Bay Toastmasters Club, enjoying every opportunity to grow as a speaker and connect with others. Through these experiences, I became known for my creativity and humor, earning multiple Best Speaker of the Day awards, two trophies, and a Certificate of Appreciation. An honor that only a few receive, making it a proud achievement.
Two speeches stand out as personal favorites. The first, Life and Death, had me diving into the deeper meaning of existence, spending an entire day reflecting and researching. The second, My Crazy Little Sister, was a playful and heartfelt tribute to my sister, capturing the joy and chaos she brings to my life.
In addition to delivering speeches, I took on various roles, such as Timer and Evaluator, which allowed me to understand the nuances of public speaking from multiple perspectives. I also met incredible mentors along the way, who taught me about different speaking styles and how to command the stage effectively. Toastmasters has been a key part of my growth, helping me develop skills that will serve me well in college and throughout my career as a public speaker.
